Captain Rick Railsback operates day charters out of Hingham Harbor aboard his classic 26’ Brownell bassboat, DARSHAN. A USCG Master, Rick has over 40 years of experience on the waters of Boston's North and South Shores. He began sailing at age 8 and competed in International 210's out of Cohasset from Falmouth to Marblehead. Rick has run small boats up and down the New England coast. A licensed pilot, his local aviation experience adds to Rick's knowledge of the coastal waters. Today, he applies his love of boating to providing clients with customized afternoons on the waters between the Boston Harbor Islands and the North and South Rivers, including Cohasset, Minots Light, Scituate Harbor. On weekdays, Rick is an executive coach, supporting executives as they integrate into new roles or new companies. Rick graduated from Princeton with a degree in international politics. Since college, he has pursued interests in executive recruiting, creative problem solving, team building dynamics and assessments of senior managers, in addition to boating and golf. He is a trained mediator, having worked in Massachusetts small claims courts as well as in court ordered family mediation.
